Like many other buyers, the camera I received was a European model not for sale in the US and therefore Canon USA makes no warranty. In addition, the accessories are offensive cheap scrap. A tripod can cost $2, it's so flimsy. The "lenses" are terrible, and the mic/flash isn't much better. The camera itself is great and even better with the zoom lens and accessory kit. I would recommend purchasing a matching kit from Adorama or B&H, which I ended up having to do. I don't know why Revain even allowed it to be sold as is in the US market as I'm sure Canon wouldn't be too happy about that.
