What a great little trimmer! Made in Japan - something you will no longer find in consumer products. Very convenient - no worry about charger and cord, no 15 nozzles occupying the entire bathroom cabinet drawer. The blades are of high quality, I haven't pulled a single hair for a few months. I oil the blades after every other use and hope they last a long time. The battery seems good enough for a short vacation, even in a country with an incompatible power supply (the trimmer only runs on 120V AC). I cut my hair about twice a week. The last charge was a month ago, so it's already lasted 6-8 uses and there was one charge left. Without the plastic guard, the bottom bar is about 1mm, which is good enough. It won't give you the feel and look of a close shave, but 1mm is more than enough to highlight the rest of your beard. On special occasions I take out a razor. Each position on the trimmer's sliding cover is spaced 3mm apart: 1 - 3mm2 - 6mm3 - 9mm4 - 12mm5 - 15mm6 - 18mm I highly recommend this trimmer. I wish more things were so thoughtfully designed. Update 7 months later. Still works great. No complaints. Great little machine.
