My 4 year old daughter is a real seamstress. She loves spending hours crafting in her room. She is building her designs on her toy box and is sitting on the little chair my husband made for her. We bought this table as a Christmas present so that she would have a place to sit/work while she does her chores. As we have a month before Christmas we haven't tested it but here is what I expect from the product. As mentioned in many other reviews I expect this to have long term use. The whole table is smaller but its functions are very well proportioned. The seat is wider and offers a lot of space. The tabletop slides out easily, giving you plenty of space to work. The dish cup is a really neat feature so you don't have to worry about crayons, colored pencils, pens, etc. rolling off. It has a very nice glossy finish that is usually easy to clean. I'm 5ft 4in and about 140lbs and I can sit in the seat with no effort. My feet can't fit under the table top, but that's to be expected. I can easily sit with it with my feet to the side. The materials are solid, as are the hardware used. After assembling the table, I gave it a good shake and the product did not move. I will say the instructions could have been better . These are all pictures with a few letters showing some parts but they don't display properly. You really need to focus on the pictures to see which part to use in some steps. Overall it wasn't a huge task and I was able to assemble it properly. I love how it comes with storage space. Organization is a big bonus for me. The fabric basket is a little smaller than I expected but it still holds quite a bit. The only downside is that there is nothing to prevent the bin from coming out from behind. So if you push the bin in too quickly, it will immediately slide out. For me this is not an obstacle, but the manufacturer can improve it in future models. I will have my husband create a piece to attach to the back so this doesn't happen. She looks the same as in the photo. The details are well done and the colors are vibrant. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good desk for their child. In fact, I've already recommended it to a friend and she's going to buy two for her girls.
