Had the same wallet for 5 years but no RFID protection. Bought for protection. You can't be sure today. A little stiffer, but that's because of the protection. There was a small issue with the zipper teeth but it has been fixed. The credit card slots are actually slightly larger than the old ones. The size probably depends on who sews it.
