Review on Enhance Cabin Air Quality with K&N Premium Cabin Air Filter for Toyota/Subaru/Land Rover/Jaguar/Lexus/Scion: High Performance, Washable, Clean Airflow (VF2000) by Donald Phillips

The first time I installed it the process was very easy but the first time I drove my Camry with it I noticed a bad rubber smell! SO. I took it off to clean the frame surface and then reinstalled it! The SMELL is still there. Went it in but changed the airflow to recirculation to minimize the SMELL! I ordered another OEM replacement filter and when it arrived I TRIED to remove the K&N only to find the second small door which was very easy to remove was NOW IMPOSSIBLE! Literally HOURS later I gave up and ordered a new door panel, realizing I would probably have to destroy the old one to take it off! Tried one last time but this time, with a small channel lock for better grip, the left side wouldn't budge, the right side detached but the left tab broke off, grrrrrrr! Insert the new OEM type by wrapping some tape to hold the left side and snapping the right tab! It's unforgivable and they deny having an odor problem! DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY!
