Few things to consider but I would recommend this light.
I am not clear on the baseplate diagram and instructions. But eventually it got installed. It was impossible to know before buying that you couldn't adjust the angle (pivot points) without physically adjusting the cleats each time. Because of this, I could not use the lamp for its original purpose. However, I needed a stationary lamp to light my sewing machine. There it served its purpose well. Appealing and sufficient brightness.
