They are advertised as rotary braziers. They are not really what they appear to be. If you don't know the originals you don't know what you're missing out on and they are just like any other roaster. On the original Rolla roasters they replicate, the plastic handle and fork rotate independently of the wooden handle, which while unnecessary for roasting marshmallows is incredibly convenient. They don't turn by themselves. The handle is a single unit, like any other brazier. The other big difference is at the top. The original Rolla Roaster has a solid stainless steel shaft for the first 7 inches of the telescoping shaft. These Aoocan braziers are hollow to the beginning of the fork. Haven't tried it yet, but it seems incredibly weak. When heated by a fire, this tiny hollow tube breaks and bends very easily as seen in other reviews.
