Best humidifier under $50 and better than Crane Drop

I live in a very dry NYC apartment that is heated by a radiator. I was dying to buy a Honeywell humidifier, but unfortunately they were out of stock at the time I really needed a humidifier and I bought a Crane Drop humidifier instead. The Crane humidifier served its purpose but was difficult to clean, didn't change humidity the way I wanted and just felt flimsy. I kept it anyway because I needed a humidifier, and one that didn't take up much space. Now I'm getting my Honeywell unexpectedly early and all I can say is: avoid the crane and get this Honeywell. I am adding a few more photos for comparison. Pros: Easy to clean (especially compared to a faucet) I only fill it up once a day. (Compared to 2-3 times with a faucet) An attached and rotatable directional component allows you to rotate the direction of the humidifier but remains fixed. Simple, subtle design. Honeywell offers a 2-year warranty. You can stick a piece of tape on it. Cons: Since both the faucet and Honeywell use a gallon, I wonder if the Honeywell really emits less than the crane, or if it's just a more efficient use of technology, doing more for less. .Lack of colors although I like the design and am glad the black block I bought matches it as the block takes up space it would be nice if it was designer/colorful. It's louder than the Crane and quite so. It's not as loud as a laptop fan, but it's closer. I actually like it because it produces a slight amount of white noise, but it's still a minus. As soon as you start a conversation or turn on the music, you won't notice. I only notice it when I'm writing or reading, but the ticking of the clock bothers me too, so it's my fault. As you can see from the pictures, Honeywell seems to be producing more than Crane in every shot. Honeywell's design also makes cleaning easier.
