I have severe deep tissue pain and am trying many products that help prevent drug addiction. When it first arrived I was disappointed. I found it difficult to hold (small hands) and didn't penetrate where I wanted relief (hip flexors). I was about to return it when I asked my husband to use it on my back. Heaven! This is the most amazingly effective back massager I have ever used. You don't have to press hard so the person applying it to you doesn't get tired. My husband liked it too and is not easy to please. My 7 year old giant breed dog just stopped by and I decided to give him a try. Recent x-rays have shown he has a calcification in his lower spine. While he's not the type to show pain, I suspect he's feeling some discomfort. He loved it! He stood still as I rubbed his spine up and down. When I stopped he stood still and refused to move until I started again. This tool may not help every pain; but what he does, he does very well. It might even work on my hips if I take the time to work with it.
