Installed on my '66 Mustang with a stock '70's 302 engine. When it ran, it ran well—not overwhelming, but enough to keep the engine under 195. Although the marketing says it's significantly quieter than most electric fans, I still think its high-frequency hum is loud. The engine case looked rough (blistering) after a few months. The car has never seen rain and is in a garage, so the damage is self-inflicted. Still works but ugly (see photo). I go back and I go back to a belt driven fan and a good shroud.
