excellent, but a small flaw, PLASTIC!

contains everything I need and more. 40 hours a week on the siding. plenty of room for all my tools and a few extras. However, I would like the knife case to be detachable due to the use of my folding knife. I just keep my beat in it. I've been using it 40 hours a week for about 3 weeks now and the only problem I've had is that the plastic that holds the 3 straps on the braces together under the right hand pocket broke today. Very unhappy. This is my second belt that broke after 2 months. My first had a problem with the belt causing the rivets to fall out (there was NO DEWALT BELT), now it's braces (plastic), THESE are perfect for me. I'm a small guy 30" and 6ft 1" and this is the only belt that fits me perfectly. I like the dry fit and the bottom is very soft. But I need braces. It's a must have for me and I expected more from Dewalt but it is what it is. I simply cut off the plastic straps and sew the webbing back onto the ones he made (with the help of my mom and grandma to make sure they don't come loose or fray when sewing them together). broken knife pocket sewn in rather than sleeve design - the square sometimes falls out or gets stuck and wish a pocket was a bit deeper (as someone else mentioned a clip/strap would be nice) - stiff but worked quickly. Perfect now.- Personally I wish the clips on my braces were metal but they work well and I always carry around 15-35 pounds in my bag and the velcro has NEVER come loose. Wrap the belt around, throwing out the part where it is sewn with the plastic and velcro DOWN. - I didn't like the velcro on the pouches (good idea, like mine to slip on if I want them) Overall I would definitely recommend them and would buy them again, just hoping that maybe Dewalt can improve some aspects of this setup changes!
