Cubot's bad build of Android
The operating system looks like "regular" Android, but Cubot puts a proprietary battery saver mode in there that cannot be terminated or disabled. Turning off Android's main battery saver in settings doesn't stop it. It's so aggressive at killing apps that you won't get any app notifications if you haven't used that app in the past few hours. Avoid.
