The item worked as described but there seem to be quality issues with the unit.1) The first item stopped working about 45 days after installation. If I hadn't pushed the black and red connectors, they wouldn't have connected. The exchange with Cutting Edge was not direct and it was easier to deal directly with Revain. 2) The replacement item (see photo) arrived already damaged. The USB ports were not properly secured, resulting in the cables being disconnected inside the device. The item worked for about a week. 3) The second replacement element works well but still seems cheap. As others have said, the fan is noisy and there is no way to turn it off. With a torque screwdriver, you can loosen the four screws and remove the fan yourself. If they added a simple switch to turn off the fan when not needed that would reduce the noise.
