This is the first good gaming headset I have bought. The first was a cheap $25 Turtle Beach headset from Gamestop, which was returned the next day. I then used my Apple headphones until I did enough research and found them. I play Call of Duty Black Ops4 and other COD games and it's very important to have a good headset, you can hear footsteps exactly where they're coming from. This is really necessary to play the game to the maximum. My K/D has grown up and overall the whole gaming experience feels brand new, I had the game 3 months before I bought the headset and it's a new experience. I recommend spending at least $100 on a good headset and that's what you need. It has a retractable mic and very good quality, I bought 2 and gave one to my boyfriend for Christmas and his voice sounds the same as on the mic, it's not high pitched or dry, nasal. I'm amazed every time someone suddenly shoots at me, because the quality of the sound depth is very good. It sounds loud when you shoot from close range, and when you shoot from a distance you can hear it enough to tell its direction. On top of that, the headset feels pretty stiff, it's all black, and it has cooling gel ear pads that feel nice and are very comfortable. The headset is very comfortable overall and has volume and mute controls on the headset cord. I haven't used the THX spatial audio mode, but I can't imagine the sound quality getting any better, to be honest. You will not regret buying this headset with a guarantee
