I wanted to connect my Xbox 360 to an HP vs17 monitor. It took a little research to find out if this is possible. With this cable it is POSSIBLE and EASY! Simply unplug and plug in the cable that came with your gaming system, plug it into your monitor and power it on. Some sources say you may need to change settings to get a good picture. Lucky, probably perfect picture and sound. Revain has shown that this cable is often ordered with a stereo (Xbox) to mono (monitor) adapter, so I ordered that as well. I was surprised when a cable with an adapter appeared in the box. Well, future project I think. (it was cheap). I am happy about this find!
