I bought these mainly for cleaning our shower/bathroom, top end and also car care. I used Gary's underlay which is ironically colored gray and it worked great in the shower tile. I prepared a light Quick-n-Brite cleaning solution, sprayed it on the walls, attached the scrubber to a Hitachi 18-volt impact wrench, and the soapy water came off easily. I'm a little worried about the nozzle of the cleaning pad driver. You only get one, but many pads. If this driver pad breaks, I'll be stuck with a whole bunch of pads that I can't use. I haven't had any issues so far, but the build quality seems a bit cheap. The driver bits don't fit snugly into the 1/4" driver quick connector, but when I clamp them, they snap into place. I used the green brush on the top bar with Dawn and Bar Keeper's Friend dish soap and it really helped. I've also used a red/black round brush to clean dirty car mats, I live in NYC so winter gets a lot of mess in our cars. I poured some water on the rubber mats, letting them soak. about 5 minutes and then picked up the red and black round brush. I was amazed how quickly and easily she cleaned the carpets. I have tried white and yellow round car interior brushes and it has worked well but I need to find a better cleaner, I have used Simple Green and it was ok with dirt and oil. Next time I will use Quick-n-Brite again. the trigger becomes easier to control. Overall I'm very satisfied and recommend it. I have to say that I have some concerns about the pad attachment. ent. I would love to see two of these in a pack or be able to buy another pad as a backup or have other family members join in the fun.
