very easy to use and install, and it breathed new life into the old Wii. Now that I have a 5 year old Mario fan, connecting the Wii to a 4K TV with a surround sound receiver was nice and easy. Of course the output is 1080p TV resolution but NOT upscaled. The actual resolution is still 480p, but it's at least scaled to fit a full 65-inch screen, making Mario Kart, Party & Galaxy a comfortable experience. Picture quality is excellent and looks like a direct digital source with no conversion. The sound quality is good and reaches all speakers, sometimes in surround sound depending on the game. No additional power supply is required as it is powered by the Wii's AV output.
