I will weld the outgoing wire, but the size is much smaller than the existing one, so it is doubtful. The instruction manual lists colors for those familiar with "cathode" and "anode" which refer to the diode, not what you connect the wires to. Someone doesn't think. Well I assumed the anode would be grounded and the cathode would be the hot (-12VDC) terminal. The chart below the text might be helpful (additional help in understanding), but the chart does not indicate colors; It just stated where you connect the wires to, so you need to figure out what color of wires you connect to what. I have enough intelligence, I think I figured it out, but the thinness of the wires will make the job difficult to do, and. I wish the cables were a little longer. Or if it was possible to have a threaded mount so I could attach my wires to that would work better. I have not yet dared to complete the work; I went after the clamp connection but it's doubtful this will work with these very thin wires.
