The rest of the reviews are correct - very inaccurate as delivered. If you happen to get a manual, you may find that you have to go through another thermometer to get an accurate reading, and then you have to "calibrate" your new thermometer. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. heard about the out-of-the-box home temperature scanner. Even after calibrating (mine was 1.3 degrees lower) it's still not accurate and they blame temperature variations between the thermometer and the skin or object being measured. Time on earth where temperature accuracy matters most, it will let you down and could endanger people if used in business. In short, you get what you pay for. Don't pay for it! Pay more and get a higher quality product!
