The keyboard feels more solid than I expected but definitely not heavy. It fits perfectly in the wireless keyboard section of your work laptop travel bag. (Perhaps a little too perfect, as one of the sticky "rubber feet" fell off, but reappeared easily enough.) The tablet stand easily holds my 1.3-pound iPad 2 (yes, it's ancient; leave me alone :D). I tested with both my Android Moto G5 Plus and my iPad 2. Both have connected as easily as one could wish. The keyboard contains switches (using function keys) to toggle between modes; I haven't tried using the wrong modes, but haven't encountered any problems using them. Not sure what the use case is with a phone. It certainly made typing a lot faster, but I wouldn't bother lugging around a keyboard. For everything else, I found myself just reaching out to swipe the screen or use the "button." So. if you want to buy a keyboard for your phone. I really doubt my decision about this. If you are sure. I think this one will fit. It works out. With the iPad 2, my main hope was to use the keyboard as a cheap sheet music page turner. Which works great. In a real application, a space moves the page forward. I have to take my shoe off to make sure I'm pressing the button properly, but it seems solid enough that I'm not worried about leaving it on the ground and stepping on it.
