Silk pillowcases are trendy. It is said to help reduce wrinkles and reduce frizz in the hair. I chose pillowcases. The first thing that struck me was how beautiful they are. I loved the weight of the material and how it flows when I move it. There is also a hidden zipper so the pillow doesn't peek out. I bought the gray standard size, and the gray is silver gray, very nice. The standard fits my odd regular contour pillow for side sleepers. As for using a pillow, I can say that sleeping on it is much more comfortable than on our cotton sheets. Since I sleep on my side, my face is constantly in contact with the pillowcase. I was shocked at the difference. I'm not familiar with all the anti-aging claims, but I can say that the increase in comfort for my face has been worth it.
