Overall this case works as described. No notable fit or performance issues. It gets one star because the rubber band that hides the screws isn't embedded flush with the bottom, so the disc doesn't lay flat. Ironically, it has notches on the sides to keep the band in place. It's annoying when things don't sit right. I put rubber pads on the front to keep it flat. I will also echo other reviews that talk about having some sort of spacer to keep the HDD/SSD from hanging around inside. If you connect the SDD/HDD at the bottom, there is a small space and more at the top. I had to use thicker rubber bumpers on top and thinner ones on the bottom to keep the HDD/SDD from dangling. Keeping things from dangling is important as these small form factor external cases need to be portable. If they fall in, they will inevitably cause damage to the hard drive or the hard drive/SSD mount point.
