I like this carrier for many reasons. It is durable, lightweight and easy to assemble. It will be comfortable for both us and cats to wear if we have the right size. When choosing a "small" size, I read and read reviews to figure out what size to order to balance carry-on versatility with convenience. The small Sturdibag, with comfortable memory foam padding, has an interior spacing of just 8 inches, meaning a creature less than 8 inches at shoulder height could potentially stand fully in the center of the bag without touching the top of the bag Inside. My smaller cat (9lb 10 in shoulder blades) (who enjoys digging in tunnels) ventured in by crouching and quickly coming out again. My large cat ((12 pounds and 11 inches at the shoulder blades) is completely uninterested. I would consider this for a one hour maximum travel situation and probably in an emergency and be prepared to be denied access by a compassionate airline employee It's just too claustrophobic for an adult cat My husband gave her a crooked look and just said "...looks too small for me" and he is really small I hope this review will save you the time and money I have to spend!
