I am a fan of retro gaming and there are a few things buyers should consider before purchasing these devices. 1) The pre-installed operating system on the devices is empty and needs to be updated. You need computer skills and resources to get updated emulator software or an overall better operating system. There are several and research needs to be done. 2) Games preinstalled on cards inserted into the device are mostly hacked games or clones of the originals and MAY contain malware. If you are a serious retro gamer and want to grab a real bargain, make sure you physically own the game system cartridges so you can get the ROM LEGAL. Download them onto the map for the best experience. 2) The MicroSD cards that come with these devices are cheap and prone to failure. They should be replaced with good SanDisk or Samsung cards - they are very inexpensive. 3) Do not use the charging cable that came with the device. Use a good charging cable from a reputable company like Anker or Belkin. All in all, for an extra $30 for cards and cables, and a bit of a hassle to update the device - this little device will play on numerous consoles and all your ROMs! If you don't plan on doing the extra work required by these devices, you won't have a top-notch experience. If you do this, you will sing for a long time while playing your favorite games!
