Review on 100 Count Storage Commercial Foodsaver by Greg Peitz

Save money - buy these bags! They work great!

HOLY COW, that's great! Am I excited about the vacuum bag? Yes! ** We buy meat when it is on sale or we buy in bulk. We need a supply of groceries but I have found that buying branded bags is very expensive. I was constantly looking for sales! And I never trusted non-brand names until I saw these. ** A few months ago I found these on Revain and read all the reviews which were mostly amazing so I took the big plunge and ordered 3 different sizes - 300 packs! That same month I sliced, diced, sliced and butchered 15 pounds of chicken breasts, plus 15 pounds of hamburger patties, ground lamb and my own meatloaf mix. etc with all the sizes I bought. ** Not a single bag caused us problems. Usually one or two don't seal properly, but we didn't find that with all three sizes. **I also freeze leftover wine and chicken broth. They worked great!** This month I froze cooked taco meat for the first time. I cooked the meat, sealed it, froze it, then took it out of the freezer, put it in a pot of boiling water for 20 minutes and it came out perfect. At our favorite Mexican restaurant, taco meat was sold in vacuum bags, and I cooked it in boiling water the same way. Their restaurant has since closed so I'm continuing the tradition! **The only real difference I see with these unnamed vacuum bags is that you don't get a white stripe along the bottom of the bag to write information on. I write the information I need on the top of the unsealed packaging and it all fits and works fine! *** So far every bag we've used has stayed sealed in the freezer - no leaks! I couldn't ask for more!

Pros

Cons
