I bought this to attach to a bandsaw to give the saw blade more light when cutting. The magnet has enough strength to hold it firmly on the top cap and the flexible arm adjusts without the base moving. The LEDs provide just enough light in the area I need, allowing me to see the blade area much better and make finer cuts. The on/off switch on the base is easier to use than the on/off switch on the cord. I'm very happy with this light and I think if it ever starts slipping down, double sided tape will fix the problem.
