Great little sewing light

I bought this to attach to a bandsaw to give the saw blade more light when cutting. The magnet has enough strength to hold it firmly on the top cap and the flexible arm adjusts without the base moving. The LEDs provide just enough light in the area I need, allowing me to see the blade area much better and make finer cuts. The on/off switch on the base is easier to use than the on/off switch on the cord. I'm very happy with this light and I think if it ever starts slipping down, double sided…

Now I see to sew!

I bought this lamp because my sewing area is not very bright and the lamps on my three machines are not very bright either. The brightness is ideal for illuminating the machine bed. I wanted to use it on all three cars so I used velcro picture hangers instead of the double sided tape that came with the flashlight. The light is a bit heavy for the velcro I used, but so far that hasn't been a problem. If I was only going to use it on one machine I would use double sided tape. The base of the…

Suitable for illuminating sewing machines or workshop lamp

This lamp works well as a sewing machine lamp and can also be used as a sewing machine work lamp. The light is quite bright - I would estimate at least 30-50 foot candles given the length of the flexible arm. The beam spread is wide, probably 70-90 degrees, like a searchlight. The magnet is strong enough to be securely attached to the back of a sewing machine, drill head or table. Mine was quite well made, although the white plastic is actually more of a beige color and had a very small defect.

Very bright light. Brighter than the light I had before it broke. I only gave 4 stars because it's magnetic only. I don't know how many cars are metal now, but most of the ones I've seen aren't. I have a lovely babylock and this light doesn't attach to it with a magnet. I ended up gluing double sided tape and attaching it to the device that came with the other light. Fits perfectly. I think this company should provide another way to put this light on non-metal cars. I would recommend this…

A few drops of glue would suffice

Ok, my car is cast steel and aluminum. NO magnet sticks to the aluminum surface; as most should know. And it doesn't stick to plastic. Mine stays up well even at high speeds of over 2500 stitches per minute. (The scissors bounce off the table) The problem I had was that the flex shaft that just pulled into the hole wasn't glued. He went outside and the light fell on the work hanging from the wires. JB Weld took care of that a bit, but it shouldn't be up to the customer to get the product right.
