My router is one of the things I know least about. I have a mid-range Dewalt router that has always come in handy, even though my cuts have been sloppy. I've always put this down to my router skills being sub-standard. A friend recommended me to get better beats. I had several oak furniture that I had to shave about 1/4 inch down the bottom edge of the surface. I first tried this racket on this piece of furniture. cut it out and get to work. These bits are *sharp*. I was blown away at how easily and cleanly my router cuts those 1/4 inch cuts. My father always said if you want good results you have to use the right tool and use the right tool. The tungsten carbide material appears to be durable. I've made several cuts on hardwood and they've all been perfect. When I finished, the snaffle blades were just as sharp as when I first started.
