I have been using this material for various purposes for a long time. Overall I'm happy with it considering the price. 1) Doesn't stick to most fabrics for a long time. Some fabrics seem to work better than others. 2) No strong glue. That means it's very easy to remove. This makes it less durable than you might hope, but it's easy to deal with if and when you need to remove it 3) Sticks well to itself 4) Sticks well to plastic so probably metals too 5) Moisture doesn't seem to have any big impact Overall I would be in seventh heaven if the glue was stronger. It shouldn't be anything crazy like self-adhesive, but the strength of the adhesive just isn't impressive. It's often the case that I've accidentally misplaced some glue on a few different things, but that's probably not the case. These would be typical use cases for the average customer.
