Review on 🌬️ DEEP COOL GAMMAXX GTE V2 White CPU Air Cooler - 4 Heatpipes, 120mm PWM Fan, White LED, Intel LGA 1200 1151 2011, AMD Ryzen AM4 by Joseph Adaymiln

Giving away old parts to a friend who badly needs an upgrade. I needed a cooler as the ones I had just didn't fit the i7-4790k. It arrived today and my first impressions so far are great. Unlike the Hyper 212 Evo, this cooler was very easy to install with an intuitive mounting system that I was able to figure out and install in less than 15 minutes. The i7-4790k this thing cools is an old chip, but it can be fried, and unlike modern processors, its maximum temperature is very low by today's standards (anything over 75C is bad for the processor). Well, after 30 minutes of Cinebench R23 (multi-core), the highest temperature I've seen was 60°C, and that's in a Phanteks Evolv mATX, which doesn't have the best airflow. Manufacturers tend to make the fins thinner so they can add more of them to provide more cooling, but as mentioned above temperatures are great and it was nice to have an air cooler installed which I didn't have a couple of times in cut the hand.
