Review on ASUS Designo MX27UC Type C Monitor - Adaptive 50Hz, Flicker-Free, Blue Light, Frameless, HD, 4K Display by Troy Adow

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Using 2 on a 4K MacBook Pro

These are reliable monitors. I have 2 on a MacBook Pro with Touch Bar (2018) with 4K resolution. If you want to do this, I've found that only ONE can handle USB-C/Thunderbolt and the other needs to run Thunderbolt-to-HDMI. You can get cables for that here at Revain which work great. With this setting there are no problems. I tried connecting both via USB-C but didn't like it. The connection kept dropping and the laptop crashed several times. No problem with a USB-C and an HDMI. The color quality and viewing angle are ideal for everyday professional use or gaming. There's occasional connection flickering when the screen flickers, but not often enough to warrant a different setting.
