My 8 year old daughter wears a size 10 for girls so I ordered her a size 10/11 in this top. It's a little big, but you can wear it. It's soft and stretchy and she says it's comfortable. She loves the color blocking and the sequin bag. I washed it on gentle cycle and hung it to dry and it was fine. Our only issue is that the color description says 'pink', but this top is actually dark orange.
