Review on Travel In Style With Evecase Canvas Backpack For DSLR Camera And Laptop/Tablet by Russell Ross

Thus is a nice, large backpack

Thus is a nice, large backpack. Its heavyweight canvas. Thick heavy duty straps. lots of pockets. The tripod attachment is underneath so that it does not interfere with carrying a water bottle. Only real problem I have is fitting my full frame nikon with battery grip and wrist strap in the compartment. The bag is not deep enough for the camera. I have to take the lens off and lay the body down flat, which takes up a lot of space where I I would carry extra lenses and my flashes. Or I can put the camera in the top section. however that is just an open space with no padding, meant for a jacket or non camera gear items, so the camera is not secure in the top. Although this is a huge backpack, the allotted space for your gear is really small. If the manufacturer had supplied an extra basket for the top section and/ or made the actual camera compartment larger, that would have made this a absolutely perfect backpack.

Pros
  • Interior mesh pockets for additional storage
Cons
  • The backpack does not offer any external pockets for quick access to frequently used items
