I've heard that charcoal is something natural that can be used to whiten teeth, but after a week or so I still haven't noticed much of an improvement. Therefore, your mileage may vary depending on the product type. Pros: It's not thick at all as the powder is very fine and easy to apply to teeth. Does not stain skin or tongue/lips. Not bad taste. Cons: Needs to be brushed with it 2 times a day (seems like a lot if you already brush your teeth 2 times a day). It is messy when rinsing because it can splash black water everywhere or accidentally get the powder on towels. Not much improvement after 1 week - upgrade if it actually works after longer use. I've had other charcoal products work after 1 week so I'm frustrated that it's not what I expected.
