This activated carbon powder is just not for me. I've been using it for a few weeks now and have only noticed a slight difference in the color of my teeth. The powder is very fine and can easily be scattered if you're not careful, and when you rinse your mouth it may take a few times to get all the black residue off your gums and teeth. We've been using charcoal toothpaste for years and decided to give this a try. It's a varnish, so not for everyday use. The instructions say to use for 30 days (probably once a year?). I personally use polish either once a week or a few days a month. If you use polish too often, the enamel will wear away from your teeth. On polishing days I also occasionally use a professional tooth polish (coarse grit). I just fill my toothbrush with regular toothpaste and then sprinkle charcoal polish on top.
