This is one of the best tooth powders I have ever used. It cleans my teeth great and I've noticed a big difference in the amount of debris that builds up on my teeth. I myself will remove the growths between my regular dental check-ups (which are going pretty well and I'm in my 40's). With most other natural toothpastes, I usually have to brush at home once or twice a week. With this toothpowder, it's not even a week - pretty impressive. I'm not a fan of super sudsy toothpastes (my husband loves suds) or overly flavored toothpastes (unless it's cinnamon). This tooth powder has almost no taste, which was strange and surprising at first. The lack of foam was just a big plus. I was expecting a minty flavor thanks to the mint, but it's actually pretty bland. It doesn't irritate my mouth or lips, it just cleans my teeth and makes my sink dirty. The ingredients are simple: activated coconut charcoal, bentonite clay, peppermint oil, stevia, sweet orange oil, coconut oil, sodium bicarbonate. There are two things I dislike about this toothpowder. First, it's wrapped in plastic. Second, it's dirty. As for the mess, that's to be expected from charcoal toothpowder. My solution is to brush my teeth at the kitchen sink because my sink is black. LAUGH OUT LOUD! Otherwise, my white sink is a mess that needs daily cleaning to be presentable. Basically I am more than satisfied.
