I bought this phone because my landline keeps ringing (and it happens all the time because of annoying robocalls, but there are hills nearby, it's good to have a landline for emergencies when a cellular signal is lost) my laptop has disconnected me from the internet. With this phone the problem is now solved. I read about all sorts of things I could do on my computer to fix the problem, but then I read that all I had to do was buy another cordless landline phone. The best solution. Communication is excellent, calls are clear. Now bogus IRS people can call and threaten that the police will arrest me if I don't follow their orders and get kicked off the internet.
