The instructions are almost useless, so look at the pictures of the installed units to understand them. This is a really good quality kit. If Harley stopped fooling their customers with insanely high accessory prices, I would buy it from them. I bought a lock set with key but I believe they welded the locks to the frame on the frame. I think I'll have to cut the bolt to fit the key locks. Whatever Loctite they use, it really works. The only thing I don't like about the kit is the front bike side mount. There's an extra black piece sticking out and it looks like you'd have to put a backpack frame on top of it first to secure it, but you don't. Insert the frame closer to the wing.
