This is the second time I have bought this item. I bought it for the first time in the summer of 2020 and my daughter has already outgrown it. We spent most of our summers by the rivers rather than the beach, and she wore it every time. it's kept her warm - if it's the right size for your baby (it needs to be snug, not tight), and just like a surfer, she's been in the water all day. She still wears her one-piece swimsuit underneath to avoid discomfort. I just bought a larger size for Summer 2021 - it's many years old and I bought XXL.
