I was worried it would be too bright but the intensity and warmth of the light is perfect. I installed them in a china cabinet and they are perfect for highlighting items in the cabinet without being overly bright. I liked it so much that I got another set for my mother's souvenir. I didn't use adhesive strips, I opted for the small metal clips that come with it. The only negative I can say is that the small screws provided to attach the brackets have a head that is smaller than the hole in the bracket. These screws are completely useless. Luckily I had small pan head screws that solved this problem I would use them again for other uses.
