This is way better than expected!
The rubber is strong but flexible, allowing you to tighten and attach where the ribbed plastic won't move. I bought two expecting to use one but ended up using both - and am now buying another set again. I have plans for one and would like an extra if I need something flexible. This is a very good product. I also have one of these that isn't flexible - it works fine, but softer rubber works much better. It fits a 2 1/2" Craftsman vacuum tube. You can apply it very carefully. I also trimmed them to fit my smaller tools. They fit well and stay in place.
