Unlike several reviewers who complained about the size of these units, I knew how small they were when I bought them (I can read the specs ). I needed several thermometers. in our offline terrain in the canyon. It can be very hot in there - it can get creepy while you work, and my wife and I are old people so you have to be careful not to get heat stroke or dehydration. I wanted to see the temperatures in different places. I wasn't really expecting much, I just wanted something close enough to the real thing. I was surprised. I tested them thoroughly at home over the course of a week, placing all three next to a Hokco weather station (which measures temperature, humidity and barometric pressure) in various locations around my house, on a table in a different room each day. The three little guys sometimes "leveled" at different speeds, but after about 20 minutes all three were giving constant temperature readings within 0.3 degrees of each other, SO WHAT THE METER. Humidity readings were also very close, often being the same across all three devices and never differing by more than 1%. But heck, as far as I know, it can be an expensive tool that's off. In terms of accuracy, I was VERY satisfied. I brought them into the canyon, placed them in three places and quickly lost one of them. My fault, not the product. I'm just warning buyers: you can hang a pink ribbon or a gold star or a moose head wherever you put one of these things because (like other small Whatchamacallums) they like to hide. Or disappear.
