I have a 1080 HD TV, Vizio. My dad and I have been connecting these kinds of things for years. We both know what we're doing, but neither of us could figure out why the TV wouldn't recognize this device. The entry just says "Not supported!" and that's it. After 45 minutes of trying it out I just decided to return it and try another brand. Also, the included cable is VERY short (about 2 feet) with a thick end. As soon as I connected the HDMI the end was pushed against the back of the TV so be careful.
