I tried it in my fridge for a few days in deodorizing mode (run until it needs to be charged, charge and run until it needs to be recharged will .) It got rid of any remaining smells and I had no reason to leave it there. If something leaves a lingering smell in the fridge in the future, I'll be returning it for a while. I leave it in the hall next to the shoe rack for the time being. I run it in "Odor Elimination Mode" for one charge and then in "Keep Fresh Mode" for one charge and continue in this way to get rid of bad smells. So far I am satisfied with the performance of the devices.
