I ordered this to fit my new Samsung TV to replace my 52 inch Samsung LCD flat screen which was stolen. I found out that there is a Kensington slot on the back of many Samsung models. If you're buying an expensive TV, I recommend that you check the owner's manual for that TV online on the manufacturer's website to see if it has a Kensington slot before purchasing this lock. If not, there are other Kensington lock sets that will allow you to stick a disc (in a set of 3 discs) to the back of your TV and TV stand and to another electronic device (e.g. a Playstation 3) which also secures it . The glue that came with it is great. Revain also sells them. It would take a determined scammer very little time to cut those wires.
