Dirty chemical smell even after 3 uses and thorough cleaning with just water. Will have to throw it away.

Unbelievable! Said to be the #1 pizza stone (recommended by Revain) on Revain. This is a terrible product or mine is defective. When I first preheated it to 400 I noticed a bad smell coming from my oven (like burning glue). I chalked it up to the curing process. The pizza tasted great. The second time I used it there was some smoke and I assumed it might be the oil from the first pizza but there was still a bad chemical smell in the smoke. Now, on the third heat, the (still) nasty chemical smell is so strong I took the stone out of the oven and baked the pizza on the rack! I had to air the house for an hour. I only rinsed it well with water after the second use and am sure that the smell is not from "pizza drips". This is my third time using the stone so it's too late to return it (I don't eat pizza every week). And I threw away the packaging. Please don't listen, I'd like an answer. Bought on 29./17. April.
