Review on Sharper Image SBM1 SI Control Operation by Jenna Willis

I like the size, the style, the fact that it's unobtrusive and works well. I'd give it five if it wasn't so damn hard to turn on or change speeds. There's no real button and you have to touch a flat surface "just right" for it to switch to the next speed and then turn off. I can rarely do everything at once, which is frustrating. And if you turn it off, you have the added complication of the fan spinning when you try to turn it off (the blades don't hurt, but they're hard to avoid unless you turn the fan all the way so the back of you). I'm still glad I bought it and won't be returning it. However, if I knew how difficult it is to turn on/off, I would look for another model that is similar in size but offers additional options.
