Leak day 1. Gas filled truck and clothing

If I could I wouldn't give a star. I finally filled the tank yesterday, 2 days after I was able to return the goods, I just found out. It's dripping heavily from the fuel gauge. He filled the entire platform of my truck with gas as well as my tools/equipment/job supplies. I had to drive about 80 miles with this leaking tank in my truck since I wasn't home. The leak was so bad that gasoline spilled out the back door onto the street, very dangerous. If there was a spark or someone threw a cigarette out the window, the back of my truck could explode and I could die. When I was finally able to remove the tank and put it where it could stink and leak without causing further problems (my backyard), all my clothes were covered in gas. Since then I've been trying to get rid of the smell. I am considering my legal options as I feel I am responsible for the useless fuel tank, the mess in my truck, the possible loss of clothing, the time I spend cleaning up this mess and the danger of being in which I found myself hauling gasoline should be compensated in an unsafe, unsuitable container. complete failure. Very upset.
