The tubes themselves appear to be fine and were packaged well enough that all 12 arrived safely. However, the corks appear to have been placed separately in the box and were not the correct size; they are too small and fall completely into the pipe. EDIT: Upgrade to 4 stars; Contacted the seller, he provided a coupon code for a new set, received and fine, there is no problem with the cork sizes. Satisfied with seller's response and solution.
