About a month ago I bought a LARGE size (based on chest size) for an 11 pound rescue dog with a 9" neck, 18" chest and 12" inch size . 14 inches on her back (she moves too much to know for sure). The coat is warm, comfortable and holds up well to her daily walks and the many trips she takes into the great outdoors to learn how to potty. A few days ago I bought an XXL size for her 31lb canine sister (14" neck, 23" chest, 24" back) after buying 2 similarly styled coats from another company, both at the same spot - complete from leg hole to neckline in less than a season of use. Both dogs are very energetic and pull a lot on walks. So far NORBI coats seem to be more durable and designed to take some of that pulling pressure on the decent metal rings exercise and straps rather than the fabric of the coat.Both coats require the leash clips to be threaded through these large rings to keep the leash attached but I would rather take that extra step than have another ripped coat.The Coats look good, are easy to put on and take off, straps are easy to adjust for a better fit, and both dogs are free to move around in them i hold her!
